One of the reasons the USA tank project is moving ahead so well is the regular communication Minerva has with both Chrezo and our factory.
It was therefore a good opportunity for Joel and I to meet with our factory owner this week in London to discuss progress.
Edward bought along one of the decorated samples of the UK version, the others are on their way, along with the 030TC versions to Chrezo, expected next week.
We can be seen holding the model, looking very pleased with ourselves!!!
We also discussed the 56xx project, and production is nearly finished, and expect to ship in the next couple of weeks. However our shipping agents have advised that all vessels are now sailing around the Cape of Good Hope due to the issues in the Middle East, adding some 2-3 weeks to the length of passage. This means that 6 weeks is now closer to 8 or 9, and it is very unlikely that the 0-6-2s will get here before Christmas. This is very frustrating for everyone, but is out of our hands. We are looking at alternatives, and will post if they are viable.
In the meantime, we will post pictures of the sample USAs when they arrive.
