We were producing 4 liveries for the 56xx, as per the order forms. These are
Green, lettered Great Western
Plain unlettered green, for the cusomer to add G W R or the late BR crest if
Black with the BR Early Crest
Lined green with the Late BR Crest
After some arm twisting, we have added a 5th livery, Black with the late BR Crest. Research has indicated that although some 109 locos received the lined green livery, the balance did not, so there were a substantial number in black in later days. These will be available at the same time as the others, hopefully around November/December time
