Description
The Iron Mink van had the great virtue of being watertight, and was adapted by many Cement producing companies to transport bagged cement products around the whole of the UK.
Minerva’s models are accurate representations of two of these vans, and we thank Tarmac for their permission to use the Blue Circle logo on one of them.
Three different numbers are available for each livery.
The models feature a plastic injection-moulded body and chassis with full external detail, metal-tyred wheels on shouldered axles fitted in compensated axle-boxes, sprung buffers and hook draw-gear with three-link couplings. A steel ballast weight is hidden inside the floor to ensure good running.

I am not an expert or rivet counter but the Blue Circle wagon is a beautiful model. Extremely well made and to my eyes stunning.
